Apple is likely to follow up the iPhone 6 Plus with an iPhone 6S Plus, and it could pack an impressive screen.
Chinese site Feng spoke with sources familiar to Apple's supply chain and found that Apple has big plans for its larger handset. While the iPhone 6S will allegedly stick with the 4.7-inch Full HD resolution screen, the iPhone 6S Plus will have a 5.5-inch display that’s in 2K.
This, if true, will be a welcome addition. While the iPhone 6 Plus’ screen is very impressive, it’s hard to make a case against bumping up the screen’s resolution.
Of course, a high resolution display will also take its toll on battery life. It’s thought that the next-gen iPhone will have a better battery, as Apple has been on a hiring spree for battery-related positions. Let’s hope that’s the case.
Both iPhone 6S models are expected to feature Force Touch, and the cheapest versions will start with 32GB internal storage.
That’s all the site found for now. Expect more rumours and spec leaks ahead of Apple’s official announcement.
