A presentation slide, allegedly from an internal meeting at Foxconn, has revealed some intriguing details about the upcoming iPhone 7 Plus, including a mention of wireless charging.
Rumours emerged at the start of the year that Apple was working on a wireless charging system. This would enable phones to be charged wirelessly without the need to leave it on a charging mat. It’s unclear from the slide if the iPhone 7 Plus will utilise this rumoured system or a more conventional wireless charging system.
Another notable takeaway from the presentation is IP68 certification. This would make Apple’s upcoming devices water and dust resistant.
It’s also tipped that the upcoming iPhone will feature a 12MP dual-lens camera and iOS 10.
There’s also an image of an iPhone on the slide, but My Drivers states that this is a concept shot, so don’t get too excited about it.
