iPhone 7 pre orders live in Ireland now- starting at €779

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have just been announced, and pre orders are now live in Ireland.

You can put your name down for the 4.7 inch or 5.5 inch models right now over on the official site. The cheapest model is the iPhone 7 with 32 gigs of storage, thankfully double the previous entry point for Apple.

That version will run you €779 and delivery is currently set to happen anywhere in Ireland by the 28th of September.

In the box you get the phone, lighting to USB cable, power adaptor, new lighting EarPods and a lighting to 3.5mm connector - because your old headphones are now garbage, according to Apple.

If you had your eye on the Plus model, things are a bit more complicated. The most expensive option is the 256 gig storage model which currently lists for a massive €1139 to arrive by September 28th. Oddly, if you want a smaller size you'll have to wait two to three weeks currently for it to be sent out.

As for that brand new Jet Black colour (which we're hearing scratches quite easily) well you'll have to be a bit patient as this phone only comes in 128 and 256 gig varities and won't be dispatched until November.

Of course you don't have to buy direct from Apple, with every phone company in Ireland no doubt champing at the bit to offer you a two year contract to go along with the shiny new phone.
