The iPhone SE has just been announced and all information suggests that it's set to be not only the fastest 4 inch phone around but also one of the speediest handsets at any size.
According to benchmarking site AnTuTu the new phone features 2 gigs of RAM, which puts it up there with a similar spec to the iPhone 6s. That's hugely impressive in such a small body and definitely makes it many times faster than the similarly sized iPhone 5s. The information was posted on Chinese social site Weibo and includes some further tests which delve deep into the performance of the device.
The important information here is at the top of the screen, with the score the iPhone SE (or Special Edition) achieved. That score put the phone in the running as one of the fastest handsets around, even in terms of brand new models like the Galaxy S7.
The iPhone SE will be available in Ireland from early April 2016.
