iTunes 12.6 introduces 'Watch Anywhere' feature

Apple has introduced a new feature for iTunes 12.6 for the desktop, which was released yesterday.

As reported by The Verge, the 12.6 iTunes update includes a ‘rent once, watch anywhere’ feature that allows users to rent a film from iTunes and watch it on any Apple device.

iTunes users were previously able to watch rented films on other devices but the process was notably complicated whereas the new feature simplifies the process.

However, users must have iOS 10.3 or tvOS 10.2 to avail of the feature.

Neither operating system is out yet, but both are expected to be released very soon.
