iWork for iCloud updated to continue work seamlessly

iWork for iCloud updated to continue work seamlessly
The idea of web-based apps is that we should be able to switch devices and pick up our work exactly where we left off, but until now that hasn’t been the case for iWork for iCloud.

Apple updated the online versions of Keynote, Numbers and Pages so that you can continue your work without breaking stride. They will now remember the last document that you were viewing along with your settings such as the zoom level, for example.

Good news for those who have to work on the go. You’ll be able to make the most of your time and spend it actually working rather than having to open documents and tweak settings before you can start being productive.

Head over to the iWork for iCloud web portal to get yourself set up and start taking advantage of the changes. This looks like the beginning of the promised iOS 8 and OSX 10.9 features called “hand-off,” so it’s a glimpse at the future if nothing else.
