Thanks to rampant leaks over the past few weeks, including a full-blown product page courtesy of LG itself, little was left to the imagination with regard to the G3, bar the release date. However, LG is yet to be more specific regarding when other markets will get their hands on the device.
The LG G3 will be going head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Sony Xperia Z2 and the HTC One, but it certainly has the specs to make a splash. It features a qHD 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and either 2GB or 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB or 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded with microSD cards. A 13 megapixel camera graces the rear of the device, while a 2.1 megapixel camera can be found on the front.
It certainly stands up from a technical perspective and we’ll see how it fares when it begins shipping worldwide from June.
