LG today announced that its G4 flagship smartphone will be available to buy on May 31st.
What’s strange is that LG hasn’t even officially unveiled the G4 itself yet. LG is hosting an event on April 28th where it will reveal the LG G4. Of course, this is the same company that posted the handset’s specs on a dedicated microsite. So, perhaps we shouldn’t be too surprised.
LG’s blog post on its Korean blog appears to confirm that the G4 will feature a 16 megapixel camera on its rear, while its front-facing camera is said to clock in at 8 megapixels. Expect some selfies to be taken during the official announcement event. The handset is also said to feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, microSD slot and a leather body.
The LG G4 will be available to buy at the end of next month, although it’s unclear if this just applies to Korea. Thankfully, we won’t be kept in the dark for long. LG’s official announcement event for the G4 will take place on April 28th.
