LG G6: first non-Pixel phone with Google Assistant

LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the LG G6, will be the first smartphone outside of the Google Pixel range to feature Google Assistant, as reported by CNET.

The inclusion of Google Assistant provides LG G6 owners with access to both dedicated voice command functionality and the intelligent personal assistant’s chatbot-like user interface.

Other notable features of the LG G6 include a waterproof body with a glass and metal design, and a 5.7-inch display.

The device is expected to use the LG G5’s dual camera system, and will be unveiled on Feb 26 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
