LG G6 may see MWC 2017 launch

A recent YouTube video from electronics giant LG implies that its new smartphone, the LG G6, will be launched in February and is likely to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress ( MWC) 2017, which takes place on Feb 27 to March 2 in Barcelona.

Previous LG phones including the LG G5 and LG G4 have seen February launches, and both models were released in April, suggesting that the LG G6 could have a similar release date. However, the G6 may arrive before April as LG recently stated in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that the device is launching “in the very near future.”

The video shows a number of pedestrians stopping in the street to discuss what they would like to see in their next smartphone, providing clues as to what features the LG G6 will have.
