LG’s newest flagship, the G4, looks quite fetching in these leaked shots.
The LG G4 will be available with a “genuine leather” or subtly stylised backing, according to the photos posted on an LG microsite. This genuine leather cover appears to form the foundation of LG's invites that it sent out for the announcement event. The site has since been taken down, but not before the photos and specs were noted.
The handset will feature a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x1560 pixels) resolution IPS display with a pixel density of 535ppi. It will come with a 16 megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 3,000mAh removable battery, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The microsite says that the G4 will arrive with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, but we suspect this is a placeholder and that the real deal, or the officially announced handset, will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
There’s also no word on the G4’s processor. There are rumours that LG will use the Snapdragon 810 as it did for the G Flex 2, or a Snapdragon 808.
We’ll know far more come April 28th. LG is hosting a G4 announcement event on that day, and we’ll have all the details about the upcoming flagship then.
