Rather than the Triple A handset everyone was expecting, the G3 Stylus is actually a mid-range smartphone, a slightly downgraded version of the previous LG G3 but this time with an added stylus – ideal for those after the convenience of a smartphone but the input of a tablet!
And you can put it to good use on a 5.5 inch qHD 960 x 540 display, which is complimented by a 1.3Ghz quad-core CPU, a solid GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and Android Kitkat. The latter is actually painted over with LG’s patented UX, identical to the UI found on the aforementioned LG G3.
Stylus compatible apps found on the G3 Stylus include QuickMemo+, Dual Window multitasking, Touch & Shoot, Smart Keyboard, Knock CodeTM and Gesture Shot. The Handset is finished off with a 13MP rear mounted camera.
The LG G3 Stylus is scheduled to appear at IFA Berlin September 2014 and launch in the following weeks.
