LG today released a new promotional video, highlighting the advantages of the G Flex 2’s curved screen.
It highlights that the G Flex 2 is smaller than its predecessor. The voiceover says that the reduction in size from 6-inches to 5.5-inches was done to maximise comfort and provide the "most ideal screen size." Is LG taking potshots at competitors during this line, as the actor takes the deliberately curved phone out of his rear pocket?
The G Flex 2 should also be tougher than the original device. The curve helps, while LG's P-OLED display combined with the "Dura-Glass Guard" makes the smartphone about 20% more durable.
The video touches on the beauty of the device and its specs. Inside the G Flex 2, you’ll find the Snapdragon 810, which makes it incredibly fast. Also highlighted are features like Fast Charge, which allows the device to get to 50% charge quickly, and the device’s self-healing back.
LG’s G Flex 2 is currently available in South Korea and will be available in other markets in the coming weeks.
