As we reported last month, LG is set to enter the smartwatch market in the very near future with its G Watch range, but up until recently very little information has been available about the forthcoming devices. That changed over the weekend, however, as the company released a brand new promotional video giving consumers a sneak peak at what they can expect from the device when it launches later this year.
Featuring the new Android Wear operating system, which has been specfically created for wearable technology, LG claims that the G Watch will "define the smartwatch", thanks to its slick and lightweight design, contemporary build and waterproof chassis.
Although a little light on information, it must be said, the video is more than a little epic, and you can check it out below if you're interested in learning (a little) more about the smartwatches. For our two cents, the device looks fantastic, and if LG can deliver on the functionality and compatibility front, this could very well be a worthwhile investment for all Android smartphone owners when it launches.
