LG G Watch marks company's wearable technology debut...

LG has announced that it'll be making its wearable technology debut in June with the LG G Watch, a smart watch that'll retail for €199, which is around $300. Reports suggest that the device will be officially unveiled at the Google I/O summit on June 25th.

Unlike the smart watches that have come before it, the LG G Watch will feature the brand new Google Android Wear OS, a mobile operating system created specifically for wearable technology - the only other Android Wear OS powered smart watch so far officially confirmed is Motorola's Moto 360.

Despite the fact that the French wing of LG has confirmed the information, the company's global office has so far refused to make any comment on the device, or its reported window of availability, although this is expected to change in the very near future as the company will most likley want to address the information publically and prepare both the media and the consumer base for the launch of the device.
