LinkedIn launches iPad app
LinkedIn has launched a dedicated iPad app to take advantage of the enhanced screen size and other features of the device. While the iPhone version did work on iPads, it took up a small portion of the screen and looked pixelated when made full size. The new app looks much crisper, cleaner and has a variety of tabs to easily flick through and make your job or information hunt much easier.

There are three pages to choose from on the homepage: You, Inbox and All Updates. The ‘You’ category lets you see who has been visiting your profile and allows you to add others. Inbox allows you to view invitations from other LinkedIn members, and then reply to or forward these messages. Finally the All Updates tab shows contacts who have changed their roles, updated their profiles or updated their status.

The iOS app has also been given an upgrade to add calendar integration and a redesigned updates view.
