Logitech announces world's fastest gaming mouse
In the world of first person shooters, speed is everything. That is why Logitech today unveiled the Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury Ultra-Fast FPS Gaming Mouse, which it is calling the fastest gaming mouse ever made.

The Hyperion Fury is made from lightweight materials and features low-friction feet to enable high-speed moves. In addition, it utilises Logitech’s Fusion Engine sensor technology, powered by a 32-bit on-board ARM processor, which allows for reliable and accurate tracking speeds exceeding 500 inches per second.

General manager of the Logitech gaming business, Ehtisham Rabbani, said that the project has been in the research and development phase for three years and that he is proud of the result. He added, “The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury is the fastest gaming mouse, bar none, and the best mouse for high-speed FPS gameplay. Its lightweight design, combined with the precision and capability of the Fusion Engine, lets you make fast, furious swipes and dominate the battlefield, proving once again that Science Wins!”

The Hyperion Fury also features eight programmable buttons that users can customise. These can be bound to complex macros or single buttons. Personal configurations are saved on-board for maximum speed and accessibility.

The Logitech G402 Hyperion Fury FPS Gaming Mouse is expected to be available in Europe beginning in August 2014, for a suggested retail price of €59.99 or £49.99 in the UK.
