Man builds replica Half-Life drone

While we wait on Half-Life 3, Half-Life fans have to entertain themselves. One man with a novel way of entertaining himself is Valentin Demchenko who built a replica of the City Scanner drone from Half-Life 2.

The drone is made from carbon fibre and polystyrene. It is 80cm long and 55cm tall, and capable of flying for around 11 minutes. And just like in Half-Life 2, you feel that the drone is keeping a very close eye on you.

You can see the City Scanner drone flying about, doing its thing in the video below. You have to feel that it would be the perfect companion for anyone who likes being snapped while out and about.

And just in case you don't believe that it's real, Demchenko also released a video showcasing the manufacturing process.
