Surface chief Panos Panay took to the stage in New York to announce the tablet, which is faster than the Surface Pro 2, with three variations. Ithas a 12-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, but despite the increased size weighs just 800g. As you would expect, it features a kickstand and a pen.

On the camera front, the Surface Pro 3 will come with a 5 megapixel camera on the front and on the back, both of which can capture 1080p video.
