Microsoft announces the Surface Pro 3
Microsoft aims to eliminate the conflict of whether to buy a laptop or tablet with the announcement of the Surface Pro 3.

Surface chief Panos Panay took to the stage in New York to announce the tablet, which is faster than the Surface Pro 2, with three variations. Ithas a 12-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels, but despite the increased size weighs just 800g. As you would expect, it features a kickstand and a pen.

Panay wasn’t afraid to address the elephant in the room that is Apple and said that you get 6% more content than you would on the 13-inch MacBook’s screen, and compared the measurements of the Surface Pro 3 with the iPad.

On the camera front, the Surface Pro 3 will come with a 5 megapixel camera on the front and on the back, both of which can capture 1080p video.
