Microsoft launches budget-friendly Lumia 530
Microsoft today introduced its lowest-priced Windows Phone to date, the Lumia 530.

The Lumia 530 comes with fairly solid specs and a budget-friendly price of around €100. For that, you’ll get a 4-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory (with support for 128GB microSD storage).

The device runs Microsoft's latest Windows Phone 8.1 software, which comes with a few unique features. These include the Cortana personal assistant if you’re in the States, the new WordFlow swipe keyboard and a few custom apps from Microsoft itself.

The Lumia 530 offers interchangeable back covers and is available in orange, green, white and dark grey. The Lumia 530 will be released in “selected markets” next month, but will be released globally.
