Microsoft's New Mobile Keyboard Switches Seamlessly Between iOS Android and Windows

Sometimes when you're using your smartphone or tablet the on screen keyboard isn't quite good enough - like when you have a lot of typing to do for work. When that happens, a wireless keyboard can be a god send.

Microsoft has just unveiled an all new mobile keyboard that not only works with Windows devices but also iOS and Android. And its more than just a device which can pair over Bluetooth, as you'll be able to swap instantly to another device using a switch which has positions for iPad + iPhone / Android / Windows.

That's a great addition to any keyboard, letting you switch instantly between three pre-paired phones or tablets. And its backed up by the addition of specialised controls on the keyboard. So you'll find Apple's CMD key, as well as a dedicated home button for Android users.

And the keyboard comes with its own cover which also folds out to become a holder for any device - so long as its no thicker than 10mm. The key spacing looks decent and there are additional buttons at the top to control media functions.

The Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard is coming out later this year.
