The latest leak regarding Sony’s Xperia Z4 and Xperia Z4 Ultra indicate that the devices will be a moderate step up from the Xperia Z3.
The Xperia Z4 will allegedly have a 5.4-inch screen with QHD resolution and will sport a Snapdragon 805 processor and a whopping 4GB RAM. Where the Xperia Z4 will differ, according to PhoneArena’s sources, is its camera.
It will utilise a more advanced camera lens system, which could make the lens even faster than the Z3’s. We previously heard that the Z4 would be the first smartphone to feature a high-speed and high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor. So, either way, we’re looking at an improved camera. The front camera will be upgraded to 4.8 megapixels.
Slightly less was leaked regarding the Z4’s bigger brother. Apparently, the Z4 Ultra will have a 5.9-inch screen, a Snapdragon 805 CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 16 megapixel camera.
Nothing is official just yet, but it is expected that Sony will announce the devices at CES 2015 in January.
