Netflix announces SD downloads for Android users

The latest version of the Netflix app supports the downloading and storing of content on Android devices with microSD card support.

Netflix previously made their range of TV shows and movies available for download last November.

However, users could only save content to the internal memory of their device, which limited how much content could be stored.

Android users with microSD card support can now download and save content to internal or external storage.

Offline content expires after a certain period of time, and Netflix notes that not all Android devices with microSD card support will be able to avail of the new feature.
