New 3D Scanner Makes Teleportation Possible (Kind of...)
Beam us up?

3D printing is becoming an increasingly big deal as more and more consumers start to see the possibilities offered by the devices, and as prices continue to decrease, that trend is almost definitely going to continue - perhaps too the stage where 3D printers are every bit as common as traditional paper printers are right now.

In a bid to make the market seem even more futuristic than it already does, AIO Robotic has just announced a brand new 3D printer that takes us one step closer to a Star Trek-esque world where teleportation and instant replication are the norm. Sure, it's not quite there yet, but this thing is awesome!

Thanks to an ingenius ability to allow users to not only scan and print in 3D for the very reasonable cost of $2,499, but also to send printable objects directly to other printers via the internet - which basically means you can make something incredibly cool and "email" the physical copy to your buddy's printer for him to check out!

While the printer itself isn't all that highly specced, the fact that users can now share their projects directly with one another is a sure fire winner for us. It may not be AIO's Zeus device that takes over the world in the future, but you can be sure that whatever 3D printer does, it'll feature something pretty similar in terms of its functionality!
