New Galaxy devices' code names discovered

Samsung is working on two new devices judging from model numbers and code names discovered. Apparently, it has a Galaxy S6 variant and the Galaxy Note 5 in the works.

The model numbers for these devices were spotted in an IMEI database. The SM-G928S is likely to be a new Galaxy S6 variant, while the SM-N920F is tipped to be the Galaxy Note 5. By comparison, the standard S6 has the model number SM-G920, and the Note 4 is the SM-N910.

SamMobile’s sources say that the new Galaxy S6 variant is being referred to as Project Zen and the next Galaxy Note device is being called Project Noble.

That’s all there is to know about the handsets at this point in time. And it doesn’t tell us much.

In other words, Samsung is working on new phones, which it will announce at some point in the future. It’s not a shocking revelation.
