A snap of this year’s Moto X has been leaked online and it backs up rumours that it’ll feature an all-metal design.
Tipster Evan Blass confirmed that this is what the upcoming handset looks like. "Who woulda thunk it? Turns out this is 100 percent real," he tweeted. Blass has a solid track record, so it’s about as close to confirmation as you’ll get until Lenovo reveals it.
The image shows off a large camera component and speakers on the bottom of the rear panel.
Benchmark results have also been leaked, though not by Blass, indicating that the device will feature a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB RAM.
Lenovo has an event scheduled for May 17, 2016, though it seems more likely that it’ll be the Moto G4 on display at that particular event. Last year’s Moto X devices were unveiled in July, so we could be looking at a similar timeframe.
