Samsung is having a tough time plugging leaks ahead of the official announcement of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge. The latest rumour is that the handsets will be available in multiple colours.
According to an insider source who tipped Sammobile off, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge will be available in four colours: dark blue, blue-green, gold, and white. Samsung has offered gold and white options as standard in the past, while the Galaxy A5 featured a dark blue tint. The blue-green variant is likely to be a completely new option.
A series of leaks point to the Galaxy S6 featuring a 5-inch or a 5.2-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Samsung’s Exynos 7420 SoC with a 64-bit octa-core CPU, 3GB RAM, a 16 megapixel or a 20 megapixel primary camera, and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Meanwhile, the Edge model is rumoured to have a display that falls over both sides of the device.
The Galaxy S6 is expected to be priced from €749 for a 32GB model, while the Galaxy S Edge will start at €849 for its 32GB version.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S Edge at Mobile World Congress in March. Can they spring a surprise of any kind after all these leaks?
