Google will unveil its HTC-made Nexus 9 tablet in the middle of October, according to new reports.
The tablet, according to “sources familiar with Google’s plans” who spoke to Android Authority, will be shown on either the 15th or 16th of October. These sources also referenced that a new phone may be shown off on the same day. The Nexus 6, or Nexus X as it may be called, has also been spotted recently, so there is a chance that it’s the handset in question.
The Nexus 6 will reportedly pack a 5.92-inch screen with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440, and its reported specs look pretty good. If you’re looking for a handset that compares to Apple’s newest devices, but prefer the Android OS, this may be the answer.
Android L is also likely to make an appearance at this October event. However, the operating system is pegged for a November 1st release, so we’ll still have some time to wait.
