No Depth-Sensing Camera for HTC One Mini 2?
Feature to be dropped from mini One M8...

Following on from the hugely successful launch of the HTC One M8 earlier this year, HTC has been busy working away behind the scenes on its next major handset release - a mini version of the device. Although it has yet to be officially confirmed by the company (the closest thing to an official confirmation comes from Swedish mobile network Telia, which listed the "M8 mini" device in a list of HD Voice capable smartphones back in March), it's a given that a mini version is on the way, as is par for the course when it comes to flagship handsets these days, but it looks as though the device will make some concessions in order to get its price down.

Arguably one of the most innovative features of the One M8 was its depth-sensing camera, which allows users to get creative with focus within the handset's well-rounded image processing suite, but it doesn't seem to have made the cut based on the latest information leaked about the device. The leak also claims that the handset will be available in three distinct colours, white gray and champagne, however no information was provided about the handset's specs, so it looks like we'll be waiting a little longer to find out what else has been removed or reduced in the conversion to mini.
