Nokia and Zynga partner for game ports
Nokia has announced that the popular games Draw Something and Zynga Poker will be ported to its touch-enabled Asha smartphones. These ports are part of a renewed partnership between Nokia and the games developer Zynga. These titles will be free to download from the Nokia Store later this year. The Asha range of smartphones is pitched as an affordable phone and its lineup includes the 311, 305 and the 306.

This announcement follows the news of a similar deal, which meant that Draw Something and Words With Friends would receive a two-month exclusivity period on Nokia’s Lumia range. These games have been selected to arrive on Windows Phones in the near future.

Nokia also took the time during its announcement to outline some statistics and figures regarding the Nokia Store. The store recently broke the milestone of five billion downloads, with more than 500 developers breaking one million downloads a piece. India Games, Pico Brothers and Inode have broken the 100 million downloads barrier.
