Nokia X follow-up could arrive this month
Nokia made the surprise move of announcing an Android handset at Mobile World Congress, but it wasn’t a once off, it seems, as reports indicate that its successor could arrive later this month.

According to “reliable sources” speaking to BGR India, the handset will be announced sometime in the week of June 23rd. This isn’t the first we’ve heard of this new smartphone; it was reported last month that Nokia was working on a new X device with a dedicated home button.

Specs posted to AnTuTu.com stated that the device would have a 4.3 inch 480 x 800 display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built in storage and a 5 megapixel camera. It was also suggested that the front-facing camera would clock in at 0.3 megapixels.

Like its predecessor, the new Nokia X is likely to be aimed at emerging markets with an entry-level price tag, though its specs have been upgraded.
