OnePlus has come out of nowhere to become one of the most interesting smartphone makers around. Their unique selling point is in crafting high spec devices with a much lower cost, capturing the attention of power users who are interested in trying something new. And it's been working out pretty well through the original OnePlus One and on to the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X.
And the company shows no sign of slowing down, with CNET reporting that the OnePlus3 will debut by the middle of 2016. The word comes straight from company co-founder Carl Pei who confirms that we won't have long to wait for the new handset and that it will come with an entirely new design. Pei mentions the thrill of people who first picked up the OnePlus One as something they want to recapture. It was a stunning device, especially for the price, and while the OnePlus 2 was more than acceptable the company is looking to wow its users once again.
No further details on the phone were forthcoming but it seems likely that it will release under the invite model which has already been successful for the brand. It will also be unlocked to all regions, as before, and available only through the OnePlus website. Worldwide shipping will be free they're hoping to expand to more regions as soon as possible.
In the meantime you can get the high spec OnePlus 2 phone with 64 gigs of strorage for just €345.
