OnePlus will try its hand at producing a smartphone for the second time in 2015, as reports suggest that a successor to the One is in development.
The OnePlus Two, according to an unnamed source who spoke to Times of India, will be released in 2015 and will come with a number of hardware “surprises.” Unfortunately, the source didn’t provide any indication as to what these may be. Hopefully they are pleasant surprises at the very least.
This new handset will likely be more affordable than many Android competitors and will offer some form of hardware customisation. This may sound familiar to anyone who followed the news about the OnePlus One, but many will hope that the company will be able to better deliver on its promises this time around.
The OnePlus One is difficult to track down and its proposed interchangeable rear panels are even more scarce.
There’s nothing official just yet, but it is quite likely that the company will have another go in 2015.
