Customers can use the app to check their bill, change their settings and review their Sky package, all in one place. It will be a convenient way of keeping tabs on what channels they have and checking their service status.
The Sky Service app is compatible with iPhones running iOS 7 or later and Android devices running Android 4.0 and higher. It has been designed for those with busy schedules, so that they can keep an eye on their Sky account at any time, no matter where they are.
Customer Operations Director at Sky Ireland, Derek Stalley, said that this app will be a great way to save time and make customers’ lives easier. He added, “Of the thousands of service calls handled by our Dublin contact centre weekly some of the most common queries relate to bill information, how to change your Sky package, or TV PIN – now customers can check this information through the app whenever it suits them without having to call us.”
Naturally, customers can still call Sky if they cannot solve a query via the app.
