Own An Eir Modem? You Could Be At Risk Of Hack

The internet provider Eir have asked all of their customers to reset their modems as the chips in their box’ could be at risk of being access by malware.

The primary devices Eir is concerned with are:

  • Zyxel D1000
  • Zyxel P-660HN-T1A

If your modem is one of these follow the instructions here.

This weakness is reported to affect 2000 people at the moment but it could be as many as 130,000 users.
