Paul McCartney helped create Skype's newest emoji

Paul McCartney has turned his creative talents to a range of new emoji for Skype.

He helped create 10 moving emoticons, which are being referred to as Mojis, for both the desktop and mobile versions of Skype. These characters do a little dance to short chords of music that McCartney created.

The animated characters include Sumo Cupid, Excited Octopus, and Flirting Banana. Clearly, there's a Valentine's Day timing behind it all.

The new Love Mojis are available on Skype right now and they're free. While they're linked to Valentine's Day, they'll be sticking around after the day itself so you can continue to express your love through the animated characters.

You can see Paul McCartney chatting about the Love Mojis and the project itself in the video below.
