Pokemon Go's battery-saving feature is back on iOS

Pokémon Go has been updated with the battery-saving mode returning to iOS.

To take advantage of the battery-saving mode, all you have to do is hold your phone upside-down while you’re playing Pokémon Go. This will dim the screen, so it won’t drain so much battery as you’re walking around on the hunt for Pokémon. Then you just wait for the buzz, alerting you of something nearby.

Version 1.3 also adds images of the three team leaders, allows you to change your trainer’s name once, and fixes some bugs.

Something that’s not included in this update, but is being tested, is the “Nearby Pokémon” feature. This acts like Pokévision did, showing you which Pokémon are nearby and where you might be able to find them.
