Polaroid shows off – but doesn't announce – first Windows Phone smartphone
Polaroid is turning its attention towards Windows Phone based smartphones, it seems, but didn’t officially announce one of its products that it was showing off at IFA 2014.

The Polaroid Windows Phone handset, called the Polaroid WinPro 5, was on display at Polaroid's booth during IFA 2014, according to WinTouch. Despite the presence of the smartphone, the company didn’t actually announce it.

The Polaroid WinPro 5 reportedly comes with a 5-inch 1280x720 display, a quad-core processor that may be clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage, 8- and 2-megapixel cameras, and a 2400mAh battery.

Polaroid has previously released a range of Android-based smartphones, though its primary focus remains on its traditional photography business.

The Polaroid WinPro 5 will reportedly go on sale in Europe in October. It is expected that it will retail for less than €200.
