Prisma now works with videos- make moving art

Prisma is a pretty cool app that takes your photos and turns them into mini works of art. It uses some very fancy technology to process them to look like actual masterworks, and the results can be pretty stunning.

Now you can produce videos too! The new feature has just been quietly rolled out by Prisma, and lets you record or load up some moving pictures and they'll be processed into 15 second clips.

Nine filters are available right now, and Prisma promises that you'll be able to do this work totally offline- which is a welcome change. It will still require a good amount of processing, which isn't that much of a surprise when you consider how much data is being crunched, but be prepared to wait a minute or two for a finished masterpiece.

The new feature is only on iOS for the moment, but Android is incoming. Grab the app over here.
