GSMArena reports that the Moto G2 will cost approximately €250. It’s expected that the Moto G2 will feature a 5-inch 720p display, a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and Adreno 305 GPU, and 1GB of RAM. It will have an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera that is capable of 720p video recording and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera.
The Moto G2’s internal storage hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s expected to clock in around the 8GB mark; no word on if it will be possible to use a microSD card to expand the amount of space available.
Motorola may announce the G2 at IFA at the start of September, a move that would make sense if the release date is September 10th. Motorola is also expected to announce the Moto X+1, which is expected to launch on September 25th, but only in North America.
