Samsung’s Galaxy A5 may be the worst kept secret in recent weeks, but a new leak may have provided us with the clearest picture of the upcoming device to date.
The A range will consist of three handsets: the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. A Kazakhstan-based retailer priced the Galaxy A5 at 99,990 Kazakhi tenge, which translates to approximately $550. The listing also provides a comprehensive list of specs and dimensions.
The Galaxy A5 will be a 5-inch device with a Super AMOLED HD display. The handset will be 139 x 70 x 7mm and will weigh just 123g. It will feature a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 16GB internal storage (and a microSD port if you need more), a 13 megapixel camera, and a 2,330mAh battery.
It is likely that the handset will have the same aluminium unibody construction as the Galaxy Alpha, use 64-bit CPUs, and will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Understandably, Samsung is keeping quiet, but expect an official announcement in the not-too-distant future.
