Rushed Samsung Galaxy S8's resulted in design flaws

Samsung rushed production of the Galaxy S8 flagship smartphone to ensure the device was launched before the summer period at the expense of the device’s design, according to a new article from Forbes.

The report notes a number of flaws in the device’s design including the fingerprint scanner’s awkward placement on the back of the smartphone, the iris scanner’s inability to work in low lighting or if the user is wearing glasses, and the fact that the facial recognition feature can be unlocked by using a photograph of the user.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 starts shipping from April 21.
