Ryanair launches smartphone boarding pass system
Those travelling with Ryanair, who own a smartphone, can now use the Ryanair app to show their electronic boarding pass rather than printing one out.

There’s no need to queue up or print out a boarding pass as customers can simply download electronic boarding passes to their smartphone and show that to get on their flight. The app also allows Ryanair customers to search for flights, manage existing bookings, choose seats and book hotels.

Passengers who prefer the good old fashioned method can still heck-in on the website and print boarding passes as they usually would.

The most recent update of the Ryanair app added the ability to receive a mobile boarding pass directly to your device as well as a new design, an improved booking process and tweaked the overall flow. The Ryanair app is available on the App Store and on Google Play in English, Spanish and Italian, and can be downloaded for free.
