There are no secrets in the tech world these days so its been common knowledge for a while now that Samsung is planning to unveil a new suite of handsets under the A brand.
This new imprint seems to have been inspired by the gorgeous Galaxy Alpha (hence the name) and aims to deliverpremium looks in a more affordable package. The first A phone is likely to be the Galaxy A5 which was previously rumoured to have an all metal body but now, according to Sammobile, it's some other material entirely.
The A5 is said to 'feel cold in the hand' but isn't obviously made of plastic either. Though seeing as its likely not constructed of adamantium, the plastic option is much more likely. Pictures show it to be thin and with a nicely angled edge to the body, as well as a look which is quite similar to the Galaxy S4.
We've also heard that its set to be a mid-range model but the specs are impressive, including a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing. That's coupled with a full 5 inch HD screen and 16 gigs of storage with the chance to expand. It sounds like a whole lot of phone, we'll have to wait and see exactly what price Samsung releases it at.
There's no release date as yet for the Samsung Galaxy A5.
