The 4.7-inch Galaxy Alpha will feature a 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED display, a homemade Exynos octo-core processor, with CPUs running at 1.8GHz and 1.3GHz, 2GB RAM and up to 32GB internal storage. Tecmundo also claims that a 64GB variant will be sold.
The handset also features a 12 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Alpha will run Android 4.4 KitKat, have Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 connectivity. However, the Galaxy Alpha will not support microSD cards.
Also confirmed by the purported spec sheet is that the Galaxy Alpha will utilise a Nano SIM card and has a 1860 mAh battery, though the later is marked “to be determined.”
Samsung is expected to reveal the Galaxy Alpha at a special pre-IFA event in September.
