Original speculation had the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 set to release at some stage in September. Now comes word that Samsung’s flagship phablet won’t hit shelves until October.
The recent Samsung advertisement, featured below, takes a subtle (or not so much) dig at the incoming iPhone 6 Plus and its attempt to encroach onto the previously Samsung dominated phablet market. According to Samsung itself, ‘The Next Big Thing Is Here October 2014’.
And while it’s a bit of a kick up the rump for those eager to get their phablet on, the ad does showcase some of the Galaxy Note 4’s standout features in action, notably the S Pen, it’s highlight function, Multi-Window and its dual task functionality, analogue to digital S Pen scribbling, Samsung’s edjing app and swipe up tab toggling.
And your preference notwithstanding, it’s worth pointing out that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 display clocks in at 5.7 inches, larger in fact than the iPhone 6 Plus’ 5.5 inch offering.
