Samsung today announced that the Galaxy Note 4 will go on sale in the UK on October 10th. It will be available to pre-order from tomorrow.
The Galaxy Note 4 replaces the traditional plastic build with a metal frame. It also features a higher quality glass display that is designed to make the Note 4’s 5.7-inch Quad HD display appear more vibrant and deeper than ever.
The Note’s iconic S Pen has been updated in a bid to kill off the need to carry around pen and paper once and for all. Not only does it allow Galaxy Note users to write on their phablet, but it also includes features such as 'action memo', 'screen write', 'image clip' and 'smart select.' All of these are designed to aid content creation and collection.
Ines van Gennip, marketing director for IT and mobile at Samsung UK and Ireland, said that the Galaxy Note 4 is ideal for consuming multimedia. Van Gennip said, “With its premium design and Super AMOLED display, the Galaxy Note 4 is the go-to-device for those looking for a stunning viewing experience.”
Also on the way is the Galaxy Note Edge, which has the same specs as the Galaxy Note 4, but one edge of the screen wraps around the side. It will be released in selected markets, but an official release date has not been announced.
