Samsung releases a lot of handsets, aiming to keep pace with changing markets and to ensure that there's a smartphone to fit your hand and budget and requirements.
Just a few months on from the release of the flagship Galaxy S5, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has appeared in the wild. The handset was originally listed on the company's Dutch site with a breakdown of specs, including a bump in processor from a Snapdragon 801 chip to the 805 version.
That will give the performance a bit of a boost, but otherwise its the exact same handset in size and appearance. Which is a slight odd thing, especially with name being 'Plus'. But the S5 was already a top drawer smartphone and no one ever complained about their phone being faster than ever before.
There's no confirmed Irish release date for the S5 Plus but one model has recently appeared on Ebay- with the bidding to start at €400. That's a great price for the phone, though its likely to go up before long.
