It's likely we won't see the actual launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 until April 2015, but at this rate we'll know everything about it long before then.
The latest round of leaks has a huge number of included specs, and they all sound pretty plausible. Here's the breakdown.
- 5.1 inch QHD Super AMOLED screen
- 20 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera
- 32, 64, 128 gig storage options
- 2550 mAh battery
- Samsung Pay, which will allow contactless payments.
The source also talks about the processor, with the 3G version of the Galaxy S6 tipped to feature a Exynos 7420 chip and the 4G variant powered by Snapdragon 810. This follows on from reports of manufacturing difficulties in the chip from Qualcomm.
And yet another rumour suggests the new smartphone could lose the dust and waterproofing capabilities of the Galaxy S5. Honestly, it was never obvious that people needed those features in a premium handset. Instead, they might be kept for the active version of the S6 later in 2015.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to be unveiled on March 2nd at the Mobile World Congress.
