Samsung Galaxy S8 launched

The Samsung Galaxy S8 finally launched yesterday at special Unpacked events in London and New York following months of speculation about the new smartphone.

As revealed during the events, Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone features a 5.8-inch display complete with superslim top and bottom bezels, a fingerprint sensor on the rear of the device, iris scanning and facial recognition security plus a 12MP rear camera and water-resistant housing.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is the first smartphone to feature the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processing chip and comes with Samsung’s new AI assistant Bixby.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and larger Galaxy S8 Plus go on sale from April 28, and you can pre-order both devices right now.
